Mid-level Information Architect
Department: Information Technology
We are currently seeking mid-level Information Architect to join our Philadelphia area team of professionals for a contract opportunity. This is an 80-hour project (2 weeks) that can be done entirely onsite but offsite is a possibility.
Our ideal candidate is experienced in IA documentation and all aspects of the user-centered design process. This person will complete site inventory for existing web sites in order to create functional specification documentation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Execute a site inventory, reverse engineering two existing e-commerce sites
- Create site maps in Visio based on that discovery leveraging an existing template
- Report to VP of IA and consult on any changes
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of professional experience as an Information Architect, User- Experience Architect, or Interaction Designer
- 1+ years agency experience preferred
- PC-based expertise in Visio
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, design, or computer science
- Ability to collaborate with designers, strategists, managers, and technologists
- Junior to mid-level experience in information design, site maps, and user scenarios
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
